Chief Financial Officer
Ari brings more than two decades of experience in financial management coupled with years of practice in the healthcare industry. In the past, Ari served as the controller of a large therapy group, managing its billing and census teams to ensure we are carefully monitoring high-cost medications, trending PPD and provide custom reporting to target cost-reduction. Ari is dedicated to our facilities and will continue to lower costs, target goals and provide superior customer service.


Pamela Benson

Director of Pharmacy Operations
Pamela started her first pharmacy 17 years ago. She has been integral in new customer starts, eMAR transitions, packaging changes and successful daily operations to support our LTC communities. Her experience and recognition of how to problem-solve, manage a high-functioning, large-scale LTC pharmacy, exceed our customers expectations and provide superior patient care keeps MedWiz Pharmacy successful.


Sammy Greenstein

Director of Business Development
Sammy is a graduate of Touro College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. Her great energy and work ethic have been a proven success for the growth of MedWiz Pharmacy. She has been increasing existing business while simultaneously capturing new opportunities through strategic marketing and operational goal objectives. Sammy works tirelessly to explore new processes, learn new technologies and bring to MedWiz Pharmacy the best standards of practice in LTC pharmacy available.


Junior Wright, LPN

Senior Account Management
Junior graduated as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1993. He has been in the long-term-care pharmacy industry since 1989. Junior’s attention to detail and his focus on survey preparedness have become a critical service offered by MedWiz Pharmacy. Junior is proficient in PCC and can assist with reporting, plan of correction and continued education. Our account-management team, led by Junior, is engaged and ready to assist with all aspects from start-up, daily process and future growth within our partner facilities.


April Golden, Pharm. D, BCGP

Clinical Director
April is a board-certified geriatric pharmacist bringing 20 years of consulting experience to MedWiz Pharmacy. As a graduate of the University of Kentucky, April is a universally recognized professional who has dedicated her career to caring for the residents in long-term-care facilities. Leading our clinical team, April and our consultant pharmacists will complete monthly routine Medication Regimen Reviews with a focus on polypharmacy and unnecessary medications, change-of-condition reviews upon request (falls, weight loss) and new admission reviews in a timely manner. Our consultants will provide reports and attend QAPI meetings, participate in behavior meetings, assist our facilities in survey preparedness with med pass education, med room audits and provide nursing education.

Blanche Reiss

Clinical Director
Blanche is our Clinical Director as well as a practicing consultant pharmacist. Her extensive clinical experience, along with her regulatory knowledge, provides a unique perspective to help our facilities provide a high standard of care within the framework of our regulated industry. Blanche attended Long Island University Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and has more than 10 years in the pharmacy field.


Lori Throop

Supervising Pharmacist
Lori is a graduate of Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She has more than 35 years of combined retail and long-term-care experience. Lori has been the Supervising Pharmacist since 2006. Her devotion and dedication to MedWiz are the foundation of this pharmacy and have catapulted MedWiz to where we are today.


Michael Orlando

Michael is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Pharmacy with more than 20 years of experience in the Long-Term-Care setting. Michael joined MedWiz with many years of experience in the corporate long-term-care-pharmacy setting where he developed the knowledge and skills to help MedWiz continue to grow, while maintaining our customer-centric company philosophy.


Tanika Barber

Medical Records / On-boarding
Tanika Barber brings to our pharmacy family more than a decade of pharmacy experience. Her duties include communicating company and position details to new hires before their start date, gathering necessary paperwork and scheduling first days. Tanika manages technicians and other staff within our facilities. Tanika heads our Medical Records department supervising the communications with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Hadassa Kitay

Quality Assurance Facility Representative
Hadassa has more than 14 years of experience in medication management within Assisted-Living Facilities & Adult Homes. She currently works to provide facilities with services that med-room/MAR audits, in-services, eMAR support & training.
